Conference Rooms and Meeting Spaces

The Essex Woods Meeting and Retreat Center is available for day-long meetings as well as an extended stays with overnight accommodations. For larger groups and groups desiring privacy exclusive use of the Center may be available.

 

Seasonal Reception / Meeting Tent

During warmer months enjoy the natural setting of our outdoor 40 x 60 tent. Its setting provides the ideal space for day meetings or evening receptions for up to 200 participants. Equipped with lights and electricity the tent can be set up to meet your specifications.

 

Juniper Conference Room and Lounge Area

Our largest indoor meeting room is the Juniper Room with 990 square feet, wall-to-wall carpeting, plenty of natural light by day and abundant overhead lighting for evening meetings. The Juniper Room can be configured to your specifications for up to 55 meeting participants.

 

The Juniper Room also provides a casual setting for those that would like to have a less formal meeting area with couches, chairs and coffee tables. The comfortable lounge area is perfect for use as a breakout space and equipped with a 48" flat screen, DVD player and streaming capabilities.

 

Ledge Conference Room

At 630 square feet the Ledge room offers plenty of space with great natural light for a variety of purposes. The Ledge Room accommodates up to 35 guests, depending on the room set up.

 

Cedar Meeting Room

Our third conference room, the Cedar Room, is located in a separate building close to the main building of the Center. Ample windows with views of the gardens and pond make its 325 square foot size seem larger and airy. The Cedar Room is suitable for groups of 15 or less desiring privacy. This private space is also ideal for larger groups needing additional breakout space.

 

Meeting room amenities include:

  • 75" flat screen TV for wireless presentations with high definition sound (LCD Projector and Screen available upon request)
  • Easels, Dry Erase Board and Flip Charts
  • Bose State-of-the-Art Sound System
  • Wireless Internet Access
  • Printer, copier and fax services
